Taylor, Jamila - Marketing / Fund Development

Jamila Taylor Jamila Taylor is an attorney in Seattle, Washington and obtained a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a B.A. in Sociology at Virginia State University.  In addition to her service for BlackPast.org, she was active on campus and in the community.  During law school, Ms. Taylor externed for the Honorable Charles Carlson of the Lane County Circuit Court and clerked at a law firm in the Seattle area.  She interned with the Lane County District Attorney's Office, the University of Oregon Small Business Clinic, and the Lane County Legal Aid and Advocacy Center's Domestic Violence Clinic. She served on the National Executive Board of the National Black Law Students Association as Western Region Chair. Ms. Taylor is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Seattle Alumni Chapter.
