Saheed A. Adejumobi is an Associate Professor in the Global African Studies Program and History Department at Seattle University. He has degrees in history from University of Lagos, University of Oregon, and the University of Texas at Austin, where he was awarded his Ph.D. He has taught at the University of Texas at Austin and Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Adejumobi specializes in African and African American History, and African Diaspora intellectual and cultural traditions.  He is the author of The History of Ethiopia, a contribution to the Greenwood Histories of the modern Nations Series.
