Dhadon, Dhadon

Dhadon_Dhadon.JPG

Dhadon Dhadon is a sophomore at Berea College, Kentucky, pursuing a B.S. in Biology. She was born in Tibet. At the age of six, she left Tibet and crossed Himalayan Mountains. Because of the hardship under the Chinese occupation of Tibet, her parents were left with no choice but to send her to India with a hope to experience and learn Tibetan language, identity and for a better future. She’s inspired to learn the history of African-American, and their struggle for their rights. She hopes to return and reunion with her parents when Tibet will be free someday!
