Granshaw, Michelle

Michelle Granshaw is a doctoral student in the School of Drama at the University of Washington.  She holds an MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Maryland and a BA in History as well as Dramatic Literature, Theatre History, and Cinema from New York University. Her research explores nineteenth-century American popular theatre and entertainment, focusing specifically on working-class performance and Irish America.  Her work has appeared in the Journal of American Drama and Theatre and Theatre Topics.
